We want to continue to build on that spirit by adding an experienced Assistant Guest Experience Manager to our team. Under the direction of the Guest Experience Manager, the Assistant Guest Experience Manager supervises and works collaboratively with visitor center staff to oversee day-to-day operations of the visitor center. Responsibilities include supervising visitor center team, overseeing retail sales, appointments, tastings, wine club areas, and overall guest experience which includes scheduling, inventory, opening and closing, customer service, reporting, and facility presentation.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Leads by example when supervising and motivating staff to achieve a high level of customer service, sales, and productivity.
•  Assists with and coordinates daily team meetings to ensure the highest quality of communication and coordination of tasks and projects.
•  Aids in the design and delivery of training and development for the VC staff through daily, weekly and monthly training. Reviews and makes suggestions to service standards and other procedures.
•  Interacts with visitors and functions as customer service representative, ensuring exceptional customer service to all. Sets the tone and pace for the team by providing exceptional customer service for all aspects of the guest experience.
•  Addresses and resolves customer concerns and communicates to VC Manager any customer service issues requiring further attention.
•  Bring an authentic genuine positive attitude and high energy 100% of the time.
•  Be a dependable extended family member.

What you should bring to the table:
•  College degree and experience in visitor center management.
•  Three years of proven effective supervisory experience in visitor center management.
•  Two years of winery tour guide experience.
•  Experience in building and coaching teams to success.
•  Exceptional hospitality and communication skills.
•  Ability to act independently to solve problems as they occur and implement corrective actions.
•  Knowledge and passion of wines and wine production.
•  Advanced knowledge of databases, MS Office, specifically Excel and Access, and experience with inventory reports.
