About the Role:
Visit Napa Valley is seeking an outgoing, detail oriented, client focused individual to join our team as an Associate, Partner Relations & Events. This position will report to the Director of Partner Relations & Events and be responsible for managing our database of the hundreds of visitor-facing businesses throughout the Napa Valley. It’s essential that you are detail oriented and enjoy multitasking as maintaining accuracy of our partners contacts and information in the database and managing the calendar of partner touchpoints is a key function of this role. Another key component of this role is event management. You will work with our Napa Valley Welcome Center team to coordinate Partner Hours, Pop-ups and other events.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Partner Relations:
- Oversee existing partner list, ensuring that all partner contacts are provided to Visit Napa Valley for the account to be up to date and accurate in Simpleview CRM.
- Answer partner questions about their partnership and benefits, help troubleshoot any issues and resolve to client satisfaction.
- Schedule and provide partner portal trainings, including taking a proactive approach to group trainings when possible.
- Work with Director of Partner Relations & Events to schedule partner information meetings
- Continuous partner relationship building and maintenance in collaboration with the Sales Team and the Director of Partner Relations & Events
- Help drive the annual renewal process, ensuring a 100% renewal rate.
- Support and assist in identifying and soliciting new partner members.
- Compile monthly Partnership reports; conduct annual Partners Satisfaction Survey
Experiential Events Management:
- Oversee and manage invitations to partner events.
- Assign team members to attend and submit to Director for approval.
- Manage ROS and key deadlines for each event and communicate with stakeholders and any other relevant staff.
- For consumer facing events, communicate key details with marketing for proper promotion of event.
- Work closely with Director to develop additional event programming that will benefit the partner community.
What We’re Looking For (Skills and Qualifications):
Our ideal candidate has hospitality experience in a customer facing role, preferably in sales. S/he is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision, is results driven, is a sharp verbal and written communicator, has solid problem solving skills and a background in project management. A background in event management is a huge plus. You understand the hospitality industry and in particular, the Napa Valley.
