Dalla Terra, a premier national importer and agent specializing in family-owned Italian wineries, is seeking an exceptional Denver, CO based Regional Manager to lead our Mountain States division. Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership: Cultivate solid, lasting relationships with distributor upper management and ownership. Collaborate to achieve mutual success.

Distributor Management: Oversee distributor purchases, inventory, pricing, and programming. Drive sales efforts on behalf of our producers to meet annual objectives.

Colorado & Utah are the anchor states of the region. Strong relationships and a deep knowledge of how to operate in both markets is essential.

Distributor Sales Support: Participate in regular market activities, including (but not limited to) ride-withs, portfolio tastings, etc.

Education and Brand Awareness: Conduct distributor sales meetings regularly and develop strong relationships with distributor sales teams to ensure strong brand understanding and awareness.

Key Account Development: Cultivate direct business relationships with existing and new key accounts both on and off-premise. Work closely with distributor managers and sales reps to grow other key account sales. Existing relationships with regional chain accounts are a plus.

Market Visits: Organize successful market visits for our esteemed Italian producers. Showcase their wines to key stakeholders in the region.

Trade Events: Participate in distributor and market-driven trade events like portfolio and account tastings, sponsored tastings (WSGT, Gambero Rosso, Suckling, etc.), wine dinners, etc., representing Dalla Terra with pride.

Reporting: Generate month-to-date and year-to-date reports for key market distributors. Conduct quarterly review meetings to fine-tune strategies.

Fiscal Responsibility: Intelligently manage and maintain various budgets – pricing, programming, samples, T&E – to help achieve sales goals.

Data Insights: Monitor and analyze sales data using Power BI, distributor reporting systems and other platforms. Use insights to create smart programming that boosts sales.



Compensation:

Salary: Competitive: $90,000-$115,000. Actual compensation offered will be based on several factors which will include qualifications, skills, experience, and market data.
