NexTerra Wine Company is a premier wine producer built on the belief that great wine begins in the vineyard. FULL-TIME, YEAR-ROUND POSITION, NO HARVEST

Responsibilities include:

•  Clean and sanitize winery equipment
•  Perform wine movements and pump-overs
•  Rack wine, shovel tanks and drains, and maintain barrels
•  Perform wine and chemical adjustments per Winemaker direction
top barrels, headspace gassing, measure and calculate workplace data
•  Moving, checking, handling and storing outgoing boxed good ranging from 30-40lbs.
•  Moving and organizing inventory.
•  Removing winery waste products from the winery.
•  General Winery Housekeeping duties including sweeping and picking up around the warehouse.
•  Basic understanding of winery operations and standard operating procedures.
•  Perform complex cellar and barrel tasks including but not limited to assemble blends per Winemaker instructions, add fining agents for clarifying wine, powder filtration, pad
filtration, crush operator
•  Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety.
•  Must be able to perform all job functions in strict adherence to company health and safety protocols, and in accordance with quality control standards and standard
equipment operating procedures.
•  Cross-Flow Filter / Pad Filter / DE Filter

Requirements:
•  Full Time Availability (Monday through Friday)
•  Ability to lift 50lbs
•  Will have at least 1 year of relevant warehouse experience, ideally in the food or beverage industry
•  Strict adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
•  Ability to stand on feet for 10 hours a day
•  Experience working with machinery is a plus
•  Dedicated and an efficient worker
•  Strong verbal communication skills.
