With the continued expansion of our business, we have an exciting, remote opportunity for a Market Manager with responsibility to cover the Northern California area. The Market Manager will be the educator/sales consultant driving distribution for both on and off premise accounts, as well as some regional chain responsibilities in the San Francisco or East Bay area.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with VP Western Region in key account territory for Northern California to develop and execute strategic sales and distribution plans within the market to drive case and revenue growth, category share, and velocity.
• Enhance knowledge of local market conditions at distributor/trade levels while growing relationships within all trade channels of assigned territory and effectively communicate market conditions, roadblocks, and opportunities.
• Maintain an intricate knowledge of the history and philosophy of NEFT Vodka, as well as vision and core values for our quality driven spirit.
• Consistently drive NEFT sales in top key high-profile accounts in territory.
• Identify, contact, and sell to targeted On and Off premise accounts independently and alongside distributor personnel.
• Utilize VIP analysis and key relationships in the market to manage price and integrity of our portfolio
• Timely track, record, and follow up on sales interactions to close accounts.
• Build trust and loyalty with distributors, accounts, and colleagues.
• Consumer/trade tastings and events as necessary.
• Conduct weekly or monthly distributor sales meetings and training sessions, product presentations, train, develop, and motivate distributor personnel to ensure proper execution of marketing strategies and success of the brand.
• Conduct weekly reviews of company intranet updates and appropriate team calendars to ensure awareness of company events and activations.
• A minimum of 80% of time in the field selling, 10% territory analysis, 5% weekly key account call prep, and 5% weekly/monthly administrative tasks.
• Execute monthly Sales Goals as directed by VP of Sales Western Region
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Specific Skill Requirements:
• 4-5 years of industry sales experience required with a distributor or supplier.
• Knowledge of general spirits industry products/production.
• Articulate and impactful in group presentations and meetings. Bring passion along with experience in developing and implementing luxury brand building strategies into daily performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinking to contribute to long-term business plans.
• Proven leadership ability, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability and willingness to work and travel on nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift 50lbs, perform repetitive lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing.
• Live within prescribed territory with proximity to major selling markets.
• A valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, or a similar field preferred.
• 4+ years of management or related experience.
