About the Role

TWE seeks an experienced Senior Director of Procurement to lead our Treasury Americas (TAM) Procurement function. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain Services, this role will oversee a team of 3 direct reports and be responsible for leading and optimizing the TAM procurement function while partnering and coordinating with the Global Strategic Sourcing team.

In this role your will align with TAM P&L stakeholders and drive performance metrics, cost savings, innovation and supplier relationships while showing strong ROI on the cost of the procurement function vs. delivered savings each year. You will also be responsible embedding a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program with key strategic partners.

In addition to the core purpose above, the role also requires strong alignment with the Global Strategic Sourcing team for globally procured categories and to execute / implement global strategies within region. This alignment includes the adherence to our TWE Procurement Best Practices (e.g., 7-Step Strategic Sourcing process, Supplier Segmentation, and our Value Proposition).

You will be responsible for:

1. Strategic Procurement Planning:
+ Develop and execute procurement strategies for locally procured categories ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.
+ Represent TAM business and provide domestic input for development of global procurement categories by the global strategic souring team.
2. Supplier Management:
+ Establish and nurture strong relationships with key supplier via Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). This will include two-way feedback surveys with subjective and objective performance data.
+ Manage supplier performance and leverage existing supplier relationship frameworks developed by Global Strategic Sourcing team.
+ Negotiate contracts for locally procured categories and terms to optimize value and mitigate risks.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Collaborate with internal departments to understand and align procurement needs with business objectives.
+ Ensure a cohesive approach to procurement that enhances overall efficiency.
+ Maintain close communication and alignment with regional counterparts.
4. Risk Management and Compliance:
+ Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process via proactive price and supply risk management. This will require deep knowledge of Supplier Segmentation and the Kraljic Model.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards set out in TWE procurement policies.
+ Partner with Global Strategic Sourcing team for ongoing development of TWE procurement policies.
5. Continuous Improvement:
+ Lead regional procurement initiatives for process improvement, incorporating technology solutions.
+ Support regional NPD initiatives.
6. Cost Management:
+ Implement cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising product quality.
+ Manage portfolios and lead rationalisation/simplification initiatives within region to deliver savings.
7. Contract Management:
+ Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with suppliers for regionally procured categories.
+ Ensure contractual terms align with business objectives and legal requirements.
8. Team Leadership:
+ Build and lead a high-performing procurement team via Lean/Six Sigma application of the Supply Chain Operational Review (SCOR) process.
+ Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
9. Sustainability Initiatives:
+ Implement Global sustainable procurement practices and company's commitment to corporate responsibility.
+ Partner with key suppliers to deliver TWE Sustainability goals and Scope 3 emissions reduction plans.
10. Technology Integration:
+ Implement and leverage technology solutions that are centrally aligned with Global Strategic Sourcing team to enhance procurement efficiency (i.e., Source to Pay, Catalogues, e-auctions).
+ Share relevant technological advancements in procurement tools and methodologies with Global Strategic Sourcing team.
11. Cost Analysis and Reporting:
+ Conduct regular cost analyses to identify areas for improvement.
+ Provide detailed and insightful reports on procurement performance to senior management.

About You

* You have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
* You have a minimum of 10 years of experience within procurement / supply chain of large FMCG organizations.
* You have applied Lean/Six Sigma expertise: black belt preferred.
* You have deep Supply Chain expertise including global best practice in Strategic Sourcing.
* You have experience in developing stakeholder relationships.
* You have strong commercial and business acumen.
* You are a strong communicator; you are an analytical and strategic thinker.
* You have wine/alcohol beverage experience or FMCG experience (preferred but not required).
