Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

- Oversee the daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.

- Manage opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.

2. Customer Experience:

- Provide outstanding customer service, creating a memorable and educational experience for all visitors.

- Lead tastings, sharing knowledge about our sparkling wines and the winemaking process.

- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

3. Staff Management:

- Recruit, train, and supervise tasting room staff.

- Schedule staff shifts and manage time-off requests.

- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.

4. Sales and Marketing:

- Drive tasting room sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and promotional activities.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional events and campaigns.

- Maintain and update the customer database for targeted marketing efforts.

5. Inventory and Reporting:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of wines and retail items.

- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

- Prepare and submit sales and operational reports to the General Manager.

6. Event Coordination:

- Plan and execute special events, private tastings, and corporate functions.

- Coordinate with vendors and external partners for event needs.

- Ensure events are executed smoothly and meet customer expectations.


- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a hospitality or wine industry role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.

- Strong knowledge of sparkling wine and the winemaking process.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
