Harvest Intern 2024
Candidates should have a passion for wine, acute attention to detail, and a positive attitude. We are a small winery where interns will directly participate in all facets of the winemaking process while working closely with the winemaker & assistant winemaker.
Salaried position, 6 day work weeks, daily hours varying from 8 – 12+ hours. Must be able to lift 75 pounds, be on your feet all day, working often in wet conditions. Harvest is both hard work and we have fun, please be prepared for both if you choose to apply. Prior experience working harvest, and forklift skills are pluses but are not required.
Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, be willing to work in a team environment, and have a flexible schedule. We provide a daily full meal mid-day for interns.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•  Crush pad and sorting line operations
•  Cap management – punch-downs
•  Barrel activities (racking, filling, topping)
•  Pressing
•  Bottling
•  Monitoring fermentations
•  Additions to wines/must
•  Winery and equipment sanitation
•  Complying with safety requirements

Salary commensurate with experience. If you have prior harvest experience &/or training on a forklift you may qualify for the high end of our salary range.
