Wine Service support for lively Lake Oswego place

Beso Bar & Bottle

Lake Oswego, OR

Job Description:

We are really excited at the opportunity to find an enthusiastic, responsible, curious, committed person to join our small team in Lake Oswego. Most of all, you must be a wine lover! We can work with limited knowledge, as long as you are interested in the Oregon and wider international wine community.

You will support our wine and bar leads and occasionally be scheduled for at least one, maybe two solo shifts per week. We request availability 3-4 days per week, including holidays and weekends, but we can work with less for the right person. We use Toast POS, which is a restaurant operator game changer. We use it to distribute tips once per week, on Mondays.

This person will be assisting our Assistant Wine Director in creating and growing the Beso Bar & Bottle wine club and liaison with chefs, winemakers, and educators to produce public and private events. We want to make some noise in L.O.! You'd assist in designing table talkers to promote the club and selecting wines for pick up. You may occasionally assist in weekly distributor tastings and monthly trips to local wineries.

In working at Beso Bar & Bottle, you acknowledge that we are entering our third year of business and slowly, but surely, finding our footing. Our mission is to present fine wine in an approachable, unpretentious way, even quietly helping to define what fine wine really is in 2024. We want the right candidate to influence our wine choices with their own life experience and help tell the Beso story of our love and passion for great food and wine. Our space is a social gathering spot for the community and our loyal and growing clientele rely on us to deliver a refined, dynamic, and delightful experience.
