Job Description:

Our team at Kosta Browne is looking for a Cellarmaster to lead a passionate and ambitious cellar team. If you enjoy working in the wine industry and developing people, then this is the role for you. The Cellarmaster is responsible for the coordination and execution of cellar, crush, and bottling preparation activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the assignment of tasks to the cellar staff, review and generation of cellar work orders, preservation of wine quality and improvement of cellar efficiency.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Supervise all cellar functions including but not limited to sanitation, barrel preparation, harvest functions, barrel maintenance, forklift operations, filtration, and bottling to
ensure quality and efficiency.
•  Assist the winemaking team in quality control throughout the winemaking process.
•  Work closely with the winemaking team to ensure the highest possible wine quality.
•  Maintain accuracy of cellar staff timecards, in addition supervises timecard approvals and payroll status change forms.
•  Assign daily workload to cellar production crew.
•  Responsible for barrel monitoring, organization, and inventory.
•  Supervise the execution of work orders including the movements/placements of full and empty barrels.

What you will need:
•  Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum 5 years of production experience.
•  Minimum 3 years of winery supervisory experience.
•  Analytical skills and attention to detail.
•  Exceptional organizational skills.
•  Good computer skills, Microsoft applications preferred.
•  Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
