National Sales Director of Events

Job Description:

To respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone and email.

•  To prepare proposals where necessary and facilitating meetings with potential clients to discuss event venue options.

•  Coordinating all event details for the client, including food and beverage, equipment, entertainment, themes etc…

•  Develop event promotions targeting new and existing clients through a pro-active approach.

•  Scheduling and co-coordinating all Italian Wine Merchants internal meeting requests.

•  Assisting in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales Manager.

•  To proactively maintain excellent working relationships with current clients in order to promote future sales.

•  To be actively involved in planning, setting up and coordination of events.

•  Maintaining and organizing the internal calendar bookings for internal and external events including date, event time, number of guests, event set up, and special client requests

•  To record the progress of all enquiries and translate into a monthly report, including enquiry conversion rates, sales forecast and other reports as directed by the Sales Manager.

•  Maintain an efficient tracking system of all event paperwork both in Netsuite and other systems of record.

•  Maintain integrity of client database by updating information where necessary to allow for effective promotions and campaigns.
