As a Sales & Hospitality Representative at Grimm's Bluff Wines, you will uphold our brand's commitment to impeccable hospitality and service. This role involves enhancing our guests' experience, driving wine sales, and promoting club memberships.

Key Responsibilities:
-Consistently deliver impeccable hospitality and service that supports the core mission of our brand.
-In a by prior reservation environment, promote and effectively sell wine and wine club memberships, achieving monthly sales and conversion goals through proactive engagement in the tasting room, tours, and follow-up communication.
-Accurately enter customer data and manage orders timely using our POS system, proficiency in Wine Direct required.
-Host guests with grace, providing a warm welcome, sharing our family story and vineyard history in a compelling manner, and conducting engaging tasting experiences that translate to wine sales and club membership enrollments.
-Inform guests about membership benefits and actively recruit new wine club members.
-Maintain and foster relationships with upscale lodging partners, private drivers, and peer winery personnel in the Santa Ynez and Los Olivos areas to enhance guest traffic and sales.
-Assist in managing winery events and wine club activities.
-Oversee all daily hospitality and tasting room operations, including appointment scheduling, phone inquiries, addressing guest issues, and ensuring a smooth setup and clean-up process.
-Handle customer transactions with honesty, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail.
-Respond promptly and effectively to customer issues and complaints across all communication platforms.
-Demonstrate a high level of professionalism consistently.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in premium wine hospitality, luxury retail or hospitality, or high-end restaurant service. Wine specific experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong passion for wine with a willingness to learn about our specific offerings including biodynamic and organic farming practices.
- Polished hospitality skills with excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
- Excellent attendance with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize responsibilities.
- Must be hands-on and adaptable in a small company environment.
- Professional appearance and enthusiastic personality.
- Must be 21 years of age, able to lift 40 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
- Must have reliable transportation and childcare if applicable.
- Valid driver’s license required.
