Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Director of Hospitality, the Events Server will be responsible for providing world-class service to our patrons during private experiences and events. Additionally, they will work in tandem with the culinary team to present, inform, and serve seasonal menu items. This position will support the setup and cleanup of events, ensure all event necessities are accounted for and clean, serves guests in a professional and kind manner, and helps maintain cleanliness in the winery's public spaces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serving all food courses and beverage items to the guest in accordance with event requirements
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.
Timing the service of courses to correspond with the dining pace of the guests
Set dining tables to established standards and remove any dinnerware, glassware, flatware and linens that do not meet cleanliness and appearance standards.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Work harmoniously and professionally with other event servers and supervisors.
Responds to guests' questions regarding the menu and has knowledge about ingredients and varietals
Collaborates with other event servers to ensure optimum service to all guests; courses delivered in a timely and coordinated manner; proper silverware and glassware with each course, etc.
Maintaining cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment
Performing other duties as assigned which may include assisting with set up and/or break down
QUALIFICATIONS

Two-Four (2-4) years' experience working at a winery, wine-related business, luxury hotel in food and beverage service, and some basic wine knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have nights and weekend availability
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working at a winery, wine-related business, luxury hotel in food and beverage service, and some basic wine knowledge.
Previous experience in fine dining
Experience with Forbes Travel Guide standards

Accident prevention is of utmost importance in all phases of job responsibilities.

Follow all company policies and procedures including job safety, safety rules and regulations.
Assist management to provide safe and healthy working conditions at all times.
Immediately report all unsafe conditions, work-related accidents, and illnesses to Safety Manager and your supervisor.

COMPENSATION: Base Compensation Range: $18.00 - $28.00 USD hourly*
