DESCRIPTION:
MUST HAVE WINE COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE AND WINE REPORTING EXPERIENCE. This is a remote position, it is a gig job, preparing forms, documents and applications for wine licensing, permits, registrations, ABC, TTB, CDTFA, FDA, Secretary of State, county and other agencies in relation to the wine industry. Pay is based on experience and is negotiable, paid on a 1099 basis. This is a great opportunity as a "second job" or extra income or for someone who does not need to work full time hours. COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

What we are looking for:
You know how to use wine compliance software such as ShipCompliant, E-commerce, Winemaking/Production software, TTB electronic permit filing systems, TTB certificate of label approvals (COLAS), and can prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and/OR annual sales tax reports, excise tax returns, license renewals, brand registrations, 50 state wine reporting, can work with PDF forms, Excel sheets, and communicates regularly via email and telephone. You live in or near the Napa Valley, Sonoma or closeby within the San Francisco bay area. We would like this person to take on ABC original applications, TTB original applications, CDTFA winegrower returns, TTB Wine Operations Reports, and TTB Excise Tax Returns from beginning to end. We are also looking for someone to prepare and complete alternating proprietor ABC/TTB applications and Change in Proprietorship applications. Must have knowledge of data analyzing and data retrieval/tracking on a regular basis.

EDUCATION:
College degree not required.

SKILLS AND TASKS:
Wine licensing in multiple states, direct to consumer wine licensing, wholesale wine licensing, California wine permit process, out of state wine permit process, able to prepare documents for wine licensing registrations and renewals in most states, understands wine reporting, sales and excise tax reports, has good handwriting and attention to detail, experience using pdf/acrobat forms, good with electronic and/or paper filings, internet savvy, knows how to prepare and submit CA ABC new applications and transfers/changes, knows how to prepare and submit TTB new permits, Alternating Proprietor licensing, understands Custom Crush winemaking, knows how to prepare and submit CDTFA Winegrower Returns, able to communicate via email, phone or text messaging, has a genuine interest in wine business and compliance. Other compliance and admin tasks may be needed to complete projects.

There is no training for this job.
