Dunham Cellars is a small, family-owned winery in the Walla Walla Valley of Washington. We produced our first Cabernet Sauvignon in 1995 as one of the first 10 wineries in Walla Walla. Today, we produce ultra-premium red, white and rosé wines from renowned vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley and Columbia Valley AVAs. The production team at Dunham Cellars is passionate about crafting exceptional wines and prides themselves in promoting a great hands-on experience and safe working practices.

Dunham Cellars has harvest intern positions available for individuals passionate about the winemaking process and interested in working with grapes from one of the best appellations in the Pacific Northwest. Harvest Interns work closely with the production team carrying out a wide variety of hands-on, small-batch winemaking tasks in all facets of harvest work. Duties include receiving & crushing grapes, sorting fruit, racking, pump-overs, punchdowns, press operations, cleaning & sanitizing and cellar/barrel activities as needed.

We are seeking positive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals that work well within a team environment, who are willing to work hard and clean scrupulously.

Requirements:
•  Ability to lift 50 lbs
•  Ability to stand for long periods of time
•  Must be able to bend over, kneel, reach, and balance on/climb ladders
•  Ability to work in all types of weather and climates (hot, cold, windy, wet, etc)
•  Willingness to work long hours – including weekends
•  Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
•  Ability to accurately complete work instructions individually or on a team
•  Adhere to all Safety protocols
•  Able to follow written and oral instructions
•  Able to communicate clearly with others

Positions start with summer bottling along with various winemaking operations and training. Full-time availability from late August/early September through November is required. Job Duration is dependent on the vintage. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

The projected pay range for this position is $17 to $20 per hour. This is the projected compensation for the position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education.
