We are currently looking for an on-call talent to assist the events team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•  Assist with events execution creatively, professionally, and in line with core brand equities.
•  Assist with all event set-up, execution, break-down and clean up. Heavy lifting is sometimes required.
•  Communicate and work with other staff members to ensure optimum service to all guests; food delivered in a timely and coordinated manner; proper silverware on table prior to food delivery, proper wines with each course, etc.
•  Open, present and pour wines in a professional manner, from bar or tableside.
•  Serve, clear and bus tables using an Open Service style to minimize interruption to guests.
•  Possess and maintain knowledge of wines being served including characteristics and description; menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes.
•  Provide excellent service to all guests, following Round Pond’s hospitality standards.
•  Follow direction from Guest & Private Experiences Manager.
•  Assist with data collection, wine sales and order fulfillment.
•  Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
•  High school diploma or GED.
•  Previous experience in a fine dining, catering or other restaurant setting.
•  Possesses and maintains knowledge of all beverage selections available and characteristics/description of wine being served at that event; menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes.
•  Prior experience related to wine industry a plus.
•  Outstanding customer service skills, poise, and tact in working with the public.
•  Possesses professional appearance and welcoming demeanor.
•  Must be a team player, have a positive attitude and outlook, with willingness to pitch in when necessary.
•  Proven ability to communicate with diverse customer group and staff effectively and appropriately.
•  Communicates clearly, interacts, and works effectively with all levels of staff; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concerns in a constructive manner.
•  Acts in a manner that reflects the Company culture.
•  Respects the structure and processes in place.
•  Organized and adaptable to changing conditions when needed.
•  Ability to stay calm under pressure.
•  Keen attention to detail and follow up.
•  Ability to effectively self-direct as needed & prioritize work and projects.
•  Required to be at least 21 years of age.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required:
•  Required to talk or hear and taste or smell.
•  Required to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
•  The employee is frequently required to stand on hard surface, to be on feet, and walking for extended period of time.
•  Bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching with hands and arms.
•  Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
•  Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

Shown pay range represents what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, however the actual compensation offered will depend on multiple job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.
