Business Development Specialist, Northern Californ

Job Description:

The Business Development Specialist, Northern California is responsible for all Oak Division "Leads" in Northern California (Bay Area, Napa, North Coast, Valley (North & Sierra Foothills). The position will have the goal of acquiring a specific number of new, target, and cross selling accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - SALES
•  Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota for total Lead and Prospect conversions.
•  Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota for "Target Account" Lead and Prospect conversions.
•  Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota for "Cross Sell" Lead and Prospect conversions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - ADMINISTRATIVE & COMMUNICATION
•  Execute & document in Customer Engagement targeted sales activity to meet Lead & Prospect conversion quotas.
•  Participate in Monthly Reforecast with Sales Team in order communicate progress on Lead & Prospect conversion.
•  Daily communication with sales team regarding Sales Activity.
•  Manage expenses at or below budget.
•  Obtain functional knowledge of all wine packaging products sold by the company.
•  Maintain customer (internal and external) confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
•  Comply with all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Bachelor's degree in Business, Sociology, or related field preferred.
•  Minimum of two years of successful sales experience.
•  Extensive wine knowledge and tasting experience.
•  Smart, driven and hard working.
•  Customer focused attitude, passion for quality and a willingness to quickly cultivate product expertise.
•  Able to respond to customer inquiries and complaints providing professional, customer-facing interaction.
•  Strong decision, analytical, written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
•  Excellent calendar management skills.
•  Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•  Ability to speak other languages including Spanish and French a plus.
•  Experience in travel and event planning a plus.
•  Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as, outside customers & suppliers.
•  Possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
•  Able to prioritize and meet deadlines with strong time management and organizational skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•  Able to work longer than normal business hours and weekends, embracing the hard work required to play hard later.
•  Able to travel domestically with occasional international travel.
•  Able to drive/travel by car long distances.
•  Comply with GMP/Food Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures that apply to Harv 81 US

Salary Range

$50,000-$80,000 annually
