Ste Michelle Wine Estates is hiring a Region Business Manager. The Region Business Manager works closely with the Sales Region VP (RVP) to lead business planning and execution for the Sales Region. This role has oversight and accountability for implementation of pricing; providing actionable market analytics; preparing and leading quarterly business reviews; budget planning, managing accruals, and updating forecasts. The Region Business Manager can be based out of Texas.

Region Business Manager job responsibilities include:

Pricing
•  Accountable for accuracy of consumer-facing pricing while maximizing company gross margin through continuous maintenance of market pricing grids.
•  Evaluate opportunities, summarize actions, and work collaboratively with Pricing Manager to implement changes.
•  Present recommendations to State Managers, Sales Directors, and RVP for approvals
•  Manage and monitor use of depletion allowances to achieve targeted net list pricing by market, channel, customer.

Analytics & Insights
•  Provide localized, market-relevant insights, analytics, opportunity identification.
•  Partner with central Sales Analytics team to meet Region's reporting & analytical needs.
•  Region distributor program execution tracking
•  Train sales organization on self-service reporting, driving consistent business review processes within the region.
•  Serve as 'voice of the sales' for all field-driven reporting needs.
•  Eliminate duplication and redundancy in reporting, and standardize reporting across Region
•  Partner with other Region Business Managers to share best practices.
•  Participate in bi-weekly calls with RBMs and central Sales Analytics team to ensure consistency and avoid duplication of efforts.

Region Finance Management
•  Oversee and summarize region A&P and T&E budgets and annual planning for RVP
•  Manage distributor Promotional Allowances and Penalty Fund tracking, if applicable.
•  Lead Quarterly Distributor Bank Reviews and manage distributor invoicing

Sales & Business Planning
•  Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with RVP.
•  Localize Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to drive accountability to distribution, depletion, and pricing objectives.
•  Consolidate and review region's demand planning and AOP inputs and actions.
•  Ensure markets develop and maintain volume builds in Anaplan within the appropriate monthly planning windows.

Position Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA preferred.
•  5+ years of progressive experience in beverage alcohol industry in commercial-facing roles that include comparable goals and responsibilities.
•  5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with emphasis on financial planning & analysis, commercial finance, pricing, or comparable positions.
•  Advanced technical proficiency with Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Circana
•  Strong financial acumen with full understanding of finance & accounting concepts, including ability to read/interpret financial statements, conduct break-even analysis, evaluate price elasticity, etc.
•  Adept at translating strategy into action, through communication with influence using data-driven approaches, translating strategy into action.

Your Compensation:

$106,370 - $138,292/yr. based upon relevant experience.
