In this newly created role of Manager of National Accounts - Walmart and Sam’s Club, you will be responsible for achieving profitable sales through strategy development, implementing customer business plans and completing associated VCT-USA strategic priorities and objectives.

The Manager of National Accounts is responsible for developing direct business partnerships with decision makers and internal/external stakeholders at the national level of assigned retail chain accounts?Walmart and Sam’s Club?that will result in innovative programs and incremental business growth. In this visible role, you will be accountable for creating solutions that complement the customer distinctiveness to develop business opportunities working in close alignment with the distributor chain matrix as well as providing chain-related support to the VCT-USA sales team. This position reports to the Sr. Director, National Accounts.

Location
This is a virtual, home office-based role that can be based within a reasonable commute of Bentonville, Arkansas. The ideal candidate resides in a major metropolitan area with proximity to a major airport with a preference for the following locations: Bentonville or Little Rock. National travel will be approximately 50%.

Responsibilities
•  Act in a leadership capacity with internal and external stakeholders in order to drive profit, growth and new business opportunities
•  Identify and create opportunities with full-circle view that benefit stakeholders
•  Conduct analyses and manage data in order to support business case
•  Communicate and coordinate chain-related business initiatives serving as the key focal point with distributors’ chain teams
•  Ensure execution of POS and deliver communication to appropriate stakeholders
•  Monitor and report results versus goals
•  Execute the plan through collaboration and communication with both VCT-USA sales and distributors’ sales teams
•  Serve as resident expert in business channel(s)
•  Relate job scope and function to overall company success
•  Learn new tasks, retain information and demonstrate position understanding in a reasonable amount of time
•  Display an ongoing commitment to learning and self improvement, with particular emphasis on developmental areas that are job and/or organizationally relevant

Must Requirements
•  Bachelor Degree from an accredited college with a minimum five years related CPG headquarters account management, sales, category management experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
•  Proven success in national chain account sector within CPG industry
•  Experience calling on the headquarters of Walmart required; experience calling on Sam’s Club, highly desirable
•  Experience in the adult beverage industry strongly preferred however those looking to leverage their current national account experience with Walmart and/or Sam’s Club, to gain entry in the wine and spirits industry, are encouraged to apply
•  Strong relationship management skills, emphasis on collaboration and alignment, across functions and levels
•  Category management mindset, with expertise utilizing syndicated data sources (Retail Link®, Circana (IRI), KARMA/iDIG)
•  Proven ability to influence through fact-based recommendations, and create and deliver strong presentations across functions and levels, both internally and externally
•  Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office-related products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
•  Valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance required
•  Overnight travel, weekend and evening work as required
•  Ability to travel nationally a minimum of 50% of the time
