A Cook job in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). As a Cook you will prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks.

This is a seasonal, part time hourly role that is eligible for tips. Seasonal roles are typically April - October, or as seasonal business needs require.

Cook job responsibilities include:

•  Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
•  Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
•  Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
•  Stock inventory appropriately
•  Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
•  Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards
•  Clean and assist with dishwashing, as needed
•  Assist other chefs as needed on all events when available

Physical Requirements:

•  Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
•  Stand, walk for extended periods of time

Position Requirements:

•  Must be 18 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent
•  Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, culinary school, or catering preferred
•  Basic prep, knife, and baking skills
•  Ability to work well with limited supervision
•  Flexibility to work different shifts to include days, evenings, and weekends
•  History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies

Your Compensation:

$18.79 - $24.42 per hour based upon relevant experience.
