Summary
This position focuses on guest satisfaction while maximizing the efficiency of the Stoller Family Estate by facilitating and organizing the intake of guests with and without reservations. The Lead Host ensures the entire Support Team provides an excellent first and last impression to all guests through fanatical hospitality techniques.

Essential Duties
1. Greets guests with a warm smile and words of welcome, manages reservations and guest inquiries, assigns tables and service stations to staff, and collects, inputs, and updates guest data.
2. Works alongside other leads to serve as the standard and role model for the Support team by performing duties and responsibilities with the goal of reaching our highest potential of hospitality in both sales and service.
3. Assists Associates with daily tasting room activities, opening and closing duties, maintaining the cleanliness of the tasting room spaces, and other tasks as assigned by Tasting Room Management.

Job Duties
•  Greets all guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome and valued.
•  Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, creating a friendly and fun atmosphere for guests.
•  Maps the Associates’ sections and assigns tables to reservations.
•  At the beginning of each day, review incoming reservations and notify management and servers of important reservations, such as birthdays, anniversaries, VIPs, trade or media guests, or other special guests of note.
•  Demonstrates mastery over our reservation system, TOCK, and plots the reservations for the shift in advance. Has a thorough knowledge of when and how we can accommodate walk-ins in order to accommodate as many guests as possible while maintaining a positive guest experience.
•  Collects, inputs and updates guest data using TOCK and WineDirect.
•  Assists in training and developing incoming and current host team members.
•  Demonstrates a passion for detail and a willingness to learn.
•  Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
•  Maintains upbeat, even-keeled attitude and composure.
•  Takes initiative to do perform ongoing side tasks throughout the shift, as well as swiftly and thoroughly completing opening and closing duties.
•  Is capable and eager to work in a variety of spaces and settings, including the Tasting Room, Events, and Warehouse as needed.
•  Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
•  Prepares and maintains the tasting spaces and restrooms for clean and efficient service.
•  Collaborates with other shift leads and respectfully takes direction from Tasting Room Managers.
•  Performs other duties as assigned by the Tasting Room Managers.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a role model for the Support team and assists other Leads and Tasting Room Managers in daily activity.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum two-year prior employment in a high-volume environment is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Licenses: OLCC license. Oregon Food Handler’s card.
