The Grower Relations Representative (GRR) is responsible for management of the sourcing, negotiating and procurement of grapes of the required type, grade and price from third parties under established guidelines. The GRR is accountable for ensuring purchased grapes are grown to specification, the orderly delivery of grower fruit and management of grower contracts for respective region.

Responsible for locating and sourcing available grapes and maintaining relationships with growers.
Act as liaison between growers and winery
Participates in the analysis, design, development and implementation of policies, strategic plans, programs, objectives, or technical systems.
Consult with and advise growers on various cultural practices and techniques
Monitor crop development and maturity levels to harvest
Work both collaboratively with Grower Relations Department and independently in field
Assist Vice President, Grower Relations with coordinating harvest deliveries and trucking
Assist Vice President, Grower Relations with contract negotiations
Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the SQF Food Safety & Quality Policy
Special projects as assigned
Education: Viticultural degree preferred
Years of Experience: 3 or more years vineyard field experience
Ability to recognize all colors of the spectrum
Demonstrate strong viticulture skills and knowledge
Familiarity with current viticulture trends and techniques
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Moderate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
Moderate to heavy physical work
Based in Lodi, but may work from any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities
Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
Must comply with all safety equipment requirements
Exposure to all weather conditions
Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
Exposure to machinery, forklifts and related production and agricultural equipment
Long and irregular hours during peak periods
Extensive walking and lifting of up to 55 pounds
