Winebow is currently searching for a dynamic and seasoned Director of Operations to lead our warehouse and transportation departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic vision, and efficient management to ensure the achievement of operational and financial goals.

Job Summary:

In the capacity of the Director of Operations, you will spearhead the efforts to run our distribution center with efficiency and safety, striving to exceed daily receiving and transportation goals. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring that the Transportation and Operations team provides exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the overall integrity of the facility. Collaborating with key departments such as Sales, Brand Management, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and others is vital to ensure the comprehensive success of our operation. Additionally, you will take charge of financial aspects, including budget management and operating expenses, to ensure the economic well-being of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:
- Provide strong leadership in all processes related to warehousing and transportation.
- Manage the strategic and tactical activities of a complex, automated, high-volume distribution center and delivery system.

Strategic Vision:
- Develop and articulate a vision aligned with the company's goals.
- Anticipate business opportunities and obstacles, creating effective action plans.

Operational Efficiency:
- Lead strategic and analytical initiatives related to efficient operations, system utilization, and organizational development.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of customer orders in collaboration with sales and brand management teams.

Team Management:
- Drive the team to achieve performance objectives and focus on continuous improvement.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with warehouse and delivery safe work methods and policies.

Budgeting:
- Participate in the preparation of the annual capital and operational expense budgets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field with 10+ years' experience in Distribution/Transportation operations.
- Minimum ten years' experience in distribution operations management.
- Experienced in an automated distribution environment.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Ability to plan and organize.
- Knowledge and experience with warehouse equipment.
- Valid Driver's License.

Working Conditions:

Normal office and warehouse environment. May be subjected to loud noise, temperature and weather extremes, occasional overtime, and infrequent overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, sitting, driving, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity.
