Fruition Sciences is a precision agriculture/consulting company providing an unparalleled level of expertise on vineyard data. Our method is designed to help winemakers link key environmental and plant metrics with their vineyard practices in order to grow the highest quality fruit while reducing their environmental impact. The Vineyard Technicians play an important role in providing precise measurements of vine performance throughout the season.

Our services and technology provide clients with a method to continuously monitor their vine water use from bud break to harvest. The Vineyard Technicians assist with the site maintenance and timely collection of vineyard data at sites all around Napa and Sonoma. Each day will be spent visiting different vineyards and performing various tasks to ensure quality data is being transmitted. The work is highly autonomous allowing for flexible scheduling.

This position gives you the chance to see the wine industry from a less common perspective and learn how to apply these technologies to viticultural practices. It's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with different wine brands.

Dates : Approximate 7 months (April-October). *Dates can be adjusted if you have a harvest internship later in the summer.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours/week, infrequent overtime. Flexible working hours!

Job responsibilities include:
- Vineyard site visits for scouting, sensor installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Basic problem solving of electrical equipment
- Daily record keeping and data entry

Requirements:
- Physical fitness
- Must provide your own transportation, you will be reimbursed for mileage
- Must live in or near the area
