Our Hospitality team is seeking a full-time Hospitality Assistant/Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute hospitality special events. The ideal candidate will have a courteous and friendly manner, and possesses keen attention to detail. This position represents the company in a professional manner to ensure that VIP visitors leave with a favorable impression of the winery and its products.


Here’s a snapshot of the job responsibilities:

•  Responsible for on-call banquet server staff scheduling, coordination of wine & champagne and all other event supplies.
•  Coorindate with Hospitalty Manager and Facilities department to obtain all necessary details to successfully execute events.
•  Assists with the presentation of all food & beverage, in coordination with the culinary staff.
•  Works as hands-on, on-site server for all hospitatly executed events.
•  Manages labor hours of event staff and assists Hospitality Manager in maintaining event staff pool.
•  Ensures that customers and guests are attended to in a timely, efficient, friendly and courteous manner at all times.
•  Responsible for maintaining all event supply inventory and seasonal/holiday décor.
•  Assist in greeting VIP guests in Korbel Guest Houses and service of Executive Lunch program.

We are considering candidates with a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in food and beverage, event planning or customer service field. A BS degree in Business Management or related discipline is desired and may reduce the required years of related experience. Other requirements include: valid CA driver’s license, CA Food Handler’s Certificate (or be willing to obtain one), ability to work a fluctuating schedule, understanding of the food & wine industry, and proficiency in Microsoft suite. The hourly range for this position is $22.12-$29.88.
