DVWP Sr. Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join the Distinguished Vineyards team, reporting to the VP of Finance. This role drives the long term and annual planning processes for Distinguished Vineyards while also providing the strategic framework for reporting insights and key performance indicators of the business. This role also executes financial analyses to continuously optimize business performance, driving the financial planning process with Brand and Channel leadership, leveraging internal and external data inputs to develop realistic, yet stretching plans for 3 Year, Annual Operating Plan, and Current Adjusted Forecast planning. This role is a key member of the Finance team leading planning, insights and reporting for DVWP, and as an enabler of change, this role also drives communication and actionable insights across the business ensuring measurability of outcomes to determine overall success. This position is Monday – Friday, hybrid (working 2-3 days in office), and qualifies for our outstanding benefits.

Minimum Requirements:
•  5 Years’ experience in commercial and financial reporting roles
•  Degree in Business, Finance, or other related field; CPA preferred with knowledge of IFRS accounting
•  Experience in delivering business results through risk and opportunity identification and planning, offering insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives
•  Have a proven track record of generating and presenting insights to align stakeholders on next steps
•  Direct experience leading teams
•  Must have financial planning and analysis experience for production or operations enterprise, preferably wine production, hospitality, direct to consumer & wholesale sales channels
•  Advanced-Power User in Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI, VIP/iDig; various winemaking software is a plus.
•  Experience forecasting and building advanced models from scratch
•  Experience navigating in a high level ambiguous environment and have proven experience in leading business process optimization
•  Must be open to travel that includes our Main Novato Office and winery locations

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•  Driving business process optimization
•  Own and manage DVWP’s 3-year, annual plan and current forecast P&L and CapEx plans
•  Lead financial analysis ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and managed across channels and brands
•  Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Commercial Analysts for Winery Operations, Wholesale, and Direct to Consumer Analysts
•  Lead competitive benchmarking and industry P&L comparisons to support M&A activity
•  Generate and integrate insights across supply and demand plans, inventory control tools, and all channel sales (Wholesale, DTC, and Exports) to support business operations
•  Lead & enable talent growth of the team, including cross-disciplinary development
