We seek an ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team! As a BDR, you will drive business growth by attracting and developing a network of new clients, researching new market opportunities, qualifying inbound and prospecting outbound sales leads, and closing sales.
In this position, you will be responsible for adding new contacts and prospects to the sales pipeline. As a key sales team member, you will actively work with the sales and marketing team to execute sales and marketing strategies and tactics to build and nurture a lead pipeline and drive sales by cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospects and end-users. Providing fresh lead development ideas and strategies to source prospects is also expected.
The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and proactive and thrive on selling and networking in a fast-paced environment. Creativity, persistence, and the ability to handle rejection are a must. Experience in the wine industry, business-to-business sales or marketing, and/or connections with business decision-makers or hospitality event planners are a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Build a sales pipeline using various tools to aggressively prospect, generate, nurture, and add new business leads to the sales funnel through outbound cold calling, email, and networking
- Work closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure alignment and cohesive execution against business strategies & priorities.
- Effectively create new contacts, document all outbound and inbound communication, and maintain accurate and timely prospect data via CRM system
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure excellent customer experience and engagement for optimal sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain prospective relationships with end-users to achieve goals
- Meet and exceed performance expectations (KPIs & benchmarks)
- Provide prompt and clear responses to all customers and team members
- Promote the company's products and services
Qualifications:
- Results-driven mentality, energetic, passionate, and teachable
- Excellent organizational skills, project management, and time management
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop, and implement effective prospecting strategies
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with the flexibility to adapt when faced with changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech savvy, Hubspot CRM and Google software experience a plus
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or marketing position
