Colene Clemens Vineyards is a family-owned winery and vineyard located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA in the Willamette Valley. We are dedicated to the growth & production of pinot noir, rosé, and chardonnay. We are located about 20 minutes from Hillsboro and Beaverton and 15 minutes NW of Newberg.
Job Details:
• Warmly greets and provides a memorable tasting experience for all guests.
• Effectively promotes and sells wine and wine club memberships to guests.
• Handles routine purchasing transactions, operates the POS and reservation software on iPad, and assembles orders accurately.
• Has excitement for wine! Actively grows and maintains knowledge of our wines, basic winemaking and winegrowing practices, and the region and beyond.
• Adheres to standards of sanitization and cleanliness, including following all covid safety protocols.
• Be an upbeat and personable team player with the ability to jump into varying roles to support the team depending on the needs of the day, and willing to take on additional tasks as needed/requested.
• Ensures tasting room and associated areas are stocked, clean, and organized.
• Ability to recognize the signs of an intoxicated guests and take swift and appropriate action to address the situation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional, friendly, and engaging demeanor.
• Available 2-4 days per week.
• Participates in both onsite and offsite special events as needed.
Qualifications
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly, and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must possess a valid OLCC Servers Permit or be able to acquire one.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Past hospitality/customer service experience required.
• Must be detail oriented and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Must be friendly, engaging, passionate about wine, and willing to work with a team of like-minded individuals.
• Requires working weekends, special events, and some holidays.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required before beginning employment.
