Adelaida Vineyards & Winery is an estate, ultra premium, family-owned winery that farms 140 acres of wine grapes on the west side of Paso Robles. The vineyards are planted up to 2000 feet in elevation and comprise the main Bordeaux varietals, the main Rhone varietals, and Zinfandel - all farmed organically. Adelaida also owns the legendary HMR Vineyard, which was planted in 1964 and features the oldest producing Pinot Noir vines on the Central Coast.
Our team is small and interns will have the opportunity to work in all aspects of harvest. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: grape processing, lab analysis, punchdowns, pumpovers, must sampling, barrel downs, tasting and lots of cleaning. Individuals that are looking for hands-on experience in a wide range of winemaking tasks will find this opportunity rewarding! The position will likely run from end of July or early August to November.
