Job Description:

Chrysalis Vineyards is a 412 acre farm located in Middleburg, VA focused on producing world-class wine, artisan farmstead cheeses, and other agricultural products. Our vineyard boasts 70 acres under vine including 50 acres of Norton, The Real American Grape. Not only are we the world's leading producer of Norton wines, we also produce other varietals such as Albariño, Viognier, Petit Verdot, Petit Manseng, and Tannat. In addition to our 25 year old vineyard and winery, our farm is also the home of Locksley Farmstead Cheese Co. The cheeses that we produce are true farmstead cheeses, made from high-quality milk produced by our own pastured dairy herd. We produce a variety of both aged and fresh cheeses including Nottingham Gouda, Little John Cheddar, King Richard Blue, and Friar Tuck Fromage Blanc.

We are currently seeking a sales focused marketing professional capable of continuing the constant growth of our many locally farmed and crafted products. This person will work with management to develop marketing campaigns, manage social media, establish new wholesale and distribution relationships and create placements in the general market that encourage excitement for the Chrysalis Vineyards and Locksley Farmstead Cheese brands.

Responsibilities:
•  Manage social media
•  Develop and lead marketing campaigns
•  Public outreach
•  Increase e-commerce
•  DTC support
•  Create and place press releases
•  Plan and execute marketing events
•  Assist with awareness of various products
•  Work with local wine shops and restaurants to place artisan products
•  Design marketing materials
•  Generate new clientele for private label wines and contract winemaking programs
•  Coordinate with the tasting room to promote products, events, and wine club membership
•  Work with the public to generate excitement and awareness for our farm products
Skills
•  Excellent written and verbal skills
•  Strong positive work ethic
•  Enthusiasm and passion for local wine and cheese
•  Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
•  Sales Experience
•  Excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail
•  Motivated self starter to achieve agreed upon objectives and goals
•  Reliable Transportation
•  Ability to lift 40lbs
