Primary Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
-Greet guests with a warm welcome and guide them through a CHEERS experience.
-Describe our wines, winemaking techniques and the winery history
-Promote the sale of wine, non-wine merchandise and Wine Clubs
-Expedite and run food to tables in absence of a food runner
-Assist with on-site events, and monthly Pairings Dinners
-Handle routine purchasing transactions, which includes guest account accuracy and processing of all transactions
-Process shipping orders and ensure that wine is shipped to the reciprocal states only and that correct shipping procedures are followed.
-Work to promote new ideas to increase monthly sales and improve operational needs
-Perform daily opening and closing procedures
-Maintain supply of clean polished glasses, washing and drying racks of glasses throughout the day, and assist in keeping wine storage and the Tasting Room organized.
-Assist with other duties, as necessary or requested
-Support company’s effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural, and “green” environment.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or similar.
-A valid/current OLCC and Food Handler’s Card (or be willing to obtain one prior to start date).
-Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and on-site winery events. Most of these events are held over holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Thanksgiving
-Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Must be able to:
-Lift 40lbs and navigate stairs and hilly terrain.
-Stand for long periods of time.
-Work weekends and evening as scheduled
-Effectively present information and respond to questions appropriately.
-Work independently and as part of a team, and build team dynamics and synergy across departments.

Must have:
-Excellent communication skills
-Highly developed organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
-A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
-Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
