Job Description:

SD Media Productions, LLC is the company behind the Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience, an annual wine and food weekend that highlights culinary diversity, sustainable farming practices and a deep connection to agriculture – through tastings, culinary demonstrations, seminars, events and more – all in the beautiful setting of Healdsburg and Sonoma’s Wine Country.

The Marketing Director will be responsible for evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, planning guest email marketing & communication strategy, and building awareness and positioning for our event. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and organized individual who is able to handle a fast-paced environment and a variety of roles within a small company. This role will be supported by a Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Manager.

20+ hours per week to start with potential to increase based on needs. Mostly remote, Bay Area preferred as there will be on-site meeting days in Healdsburg.

Duties & responsibilities
•  Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives
•  Develop and execute overall marketing strategy and marketing plan
•  Develop and oversee social media marketing strategy (supported by Social Media Manager) and content marketing
•  Planning, directing, and executing marketing efforts
•  Plan and execute all advertising campaigns across all platforms and negotiate advertising contracts; aggregate and report campaign results
•  Build brand awareness and positioning
•  Build and maintain marketing relationships with event partners & local businesses
•  Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities
•  Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
•  Work with Marketing Coordinator and Creative consultant to plan and produce creative assets and marketing materials
•  Manage third party providers and partners including creative agency, printers, media, contractors, etc
•  Develop, copywrite and oversee email communications strategy for event attendees

•  2+ years in a Marketing role with strategy & execution experience
•  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•  Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies
•  Time management and organization
•  Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
•  Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO, and tracking (Google Analytics)
•  Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
•  Working knowledge of ad serving tools
•  Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or advertising campaigns
