Position Title: Production Assistant (Temp)
Reports To: Distiller
Pay: $18 an hour – full-time
Temporary - with potential for further employment
Tues – Sat
Tuesday June 7th – Saturday June 27th
Spirit Works Distillery is a small craft distillery located in Sebastopol, California. The distillery is a highly respected and award-winning craft spirits producer which house-ferments, distills, and bottles handmade craft spirits on-site. The production team is led by one of the few female led distilling teams in the U.S and our tasting room is open 5 days a week, year-round.
Basic Function: To assist Distillers in day-to-day distillery operations with a focus on product bottling, labelling, and distillery cleanliness.
Qualifiers: Must be at least 21 years of age. Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Able to stand for 8 hours a day doing physical work all day. Thrives in a team environment. Proactive and self-motivated.
Principal Responsibilities:
Bottling
- Set-up/breakdown
- Daily operations
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Labeling
Cleaning
- General distillery
- Tanks and equipment
- Lab and other production work areas
- Support team to maintain sanitation protocols
General Production at times
- Assist Distillers and Production Team with all requested tasks
- Raw materials preparation
- Filtration
- Pump set-ups
