Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vintage Wine Estates (VWE) is a multi brand company of diverse wineries and other businesses.

The Facilities Coordinator is a highly dependable person that takes pride in the ambience of the winery, tasting room and estate house, and grounds. This position is capable of completing most maintenance projects, gardening, cleaning, and repairs for properties located within Sonoma and Napa. 

Ground Maintenance

Emptying all trash cans daily
Cleaning up property as needed
Work with gardener as needed, work through problems, find solutions, always help when asked on all projects
Complete other landscaping projects as assigned by manager
Ability to repair/replace irrigation systems
Perform monthly Fire extinguisher checks, report necessary replacements or recharging as needed
Changing banners on road as needed
Assist TR team to move furniture as needed
Fill propane tanks on portable heaters

Facilities

Basic level carpentry such as building fences, walls, laying floor, dry wall, etc.
Install light fixture, change plugs and bulbs
Tile repair
Interior/exterior painting
Plumbing
Toilet repair/replacement
Minor equipment repair
Painting

Other duties

Support TR in putting wine away as needed
Clean TR as needed
Coordinate dump runs
Oversee maintenance of Estate House

Events

Help set up for events and break down the following day
Overall help as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

A strong level of organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Basic carpentry, landscaping, plumbing and electrical skills
Must be capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks at once
Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.

Professional appearance and demeanor
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a changing environment with enthusiasm
Ability to perform simple mathematics with regard to inventory
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be certified forklift driver
Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop and crouch repeatedly
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work nights, weekends and/or holidays for special events
