Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE
Responsible for the maintenance of the winery’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) shipping logistics, inventory management, and product database management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Inventory/Product Management
•  Orders all wine from offsite warehouse, receives inventory, and puts away orders
•  Manages all DTC special wine orders, both internally and for customers (including pulling all daily and weekly will call orders)
•  Coordinates and executes weekly inventory counts and researches inventory discrepancies
•  Maintains an orderly, properly stocked case storage room
•  Manages DTC product database within WineDirect, including webstore inventory
•  Works with Sales Operations Manager to manage DTC product inventory at offsite warehouse
•  Works with Sales Operations Manager to assist with administrative and research projects, as assigned

Shipping/Fulfillment Management

•  Responsible for fulfillment management of all DTC shipping orders through onsite and offsite warehouses
•  Orders all shipping related supplies
•  Acts as customer liaison for all shipping questions and concerns.
•  Responsible for all non-accounting features of compliance software including but not limited to fulfillment management, product management, and label/COLA uploads and acts as DTC liaison with compliance officer

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Complies with all OLCC laws and ordinances, while meeting customer service guidelines and maintaining company image
•  Assists with onsite event setup and breakdown and works at various onsite events, as needed (may be after hours or weekends)
•  Performs other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•  Must be at least 21 years of age
•  This position typically requires at least two years of related experience
•  This position typically requires demonstrated excellence in customer service
•  This position requires exceptional attention to detail
•  This position requires a demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with little direction
•  This position requires strong communication and organizational skills
•  This position requires basic math skills
•  This position requires a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audience.
•  Must possess an intermediate working knowledge of winemaking equipment, processes and procedures
•  Must possess an intermediate working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
•  Experience with shipping and compliance software (UPS Worldship, ShipCompliant) and/or winery software (WineDirect, Commerce7) is preferred
•  Oregon Liquor Control Commission license is required
•  Must be able to repeatedly lift and maneuver 40 pound cases of wine
•  Forklift experience preferred, must be willing to receive forklift certification
