Job Description:

SUMMARY: The Systems Administrator will oversee and maintain the overall IT infrastructure of The Duckhorn Portfolio. The scope of supporting infrastructure spans the entire technology spectrum of the business: Servers, PCs, Printers, Telecommunication Systems, Application Software, and Voice/Data Networks. In addition, support of core enterprise system technologies includes, but is not limited to: Virtualized Servers, Networks, Hardware, Cloud Infrastructure, Software Application, Network & Application Security, and any third-party supporting technology. This position works closely with the Sr. support staff and Sr. System Administrator, who provides direction and guidance routinely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Administration and management of technical hardware, virtual infrastructure, cloud infrastructure and application infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and performance.
•  Administration of daily backup process and verifies disaster recovery preparedness for physical, virtual and cloud based systems.
•  Installs, configures and maintains infrastructure technologies and end user technologies with future supportability always in mind.
•  Managing virtualization infrastructure at a host, network and storage level.
•  Able to develop, implementing and managing security controls and defenses related to the execution of Information Security Projects, including Intrusion Detection, Log Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment, and Information Security Process & Reporting.
•  Understands the internal mechanics of all supported DP technologies while preparing to follow standard troubleshooting techniques and workaround/resolution procedures when failure or inconsistencies occur.
•  Respond to infrastructure system alerts, outages, and errors; assess, respond and repair
•  Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
•  Cloud related experiences, solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience related to the subject
•  Vitalization Certification. (Hyper-V)
•  Microsoft Azure Administrator certification
•  Proven expertise in designing and architecting Azure infrastructure and all other Microsoft cloud applications/features
•  Excellent technical skills with minimum five years of hands-on experience using many different types of hardware and software.
•  Proficiency with current server operating systems (Windows 2008 and above)
•  Strong Networking Background, solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience related to the subject.
•  Knowledge of Foritnet, Meraki, Cisco Networking equipment.
•  Strong TCP/IP skills including DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration, including working knowledge of network topology and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS).
•  Configuring and installing various network devices, services, configuration (e.g., routers, switches,
firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, Vlans).
•  Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations (Firewalls, Switches, Wireless, ect).
•  Strong understanding of VOIP and cloud-based PBX systems. (8x8)
•  Strong IT security related experiences, solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience related to the subject.
•  Experience with access control technology (SSO, MFA, Encryption, Restricted Rights, etc).
•  Security related certification a plus.
•  System Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity experience a must.
•  Must be willing to work on call should infrastructure technologies fail after business hours.
•  Power Shell and scripting experience a must.
•  Experience with GPO a must.
•  Experience with Office 365 configure and manage cloud services.
•  Administer and maintain the organization's email system(s). Monitors services, performance, configuration, continuity, and mail flow. (Office 365, Exchange)
•  Experience with email security solutions.(Mimecast)
•  Experience with enterprise-class mobile device management solutions for Windows, iOS & Android. (ManageEngine, Microsoft Intune)
•  Experience with installing the Active Directory, configuring domains and managing the directory services
across a variety of Windows servers.
•  Good communication skills, capable of assisting employees from every department and level of the organization.

•  Self-starters who can take initiative, can work without supervision and begin projects independently.
•  Service-oriented personality, positive attitude, passion for technology.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Occasional night and weekend work required.
•  Experience with Cloud ticketing system – Samanage.
•  Excellent documentation skills and procedural development capabilities required.
•  Natural problem-solving skills focused on finding quality resolutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
•  Creative and innovative.
•  Experience with compliance related audit associated to technology (SOX, ISO, PCI).
•  Demonstrated experience adapting to changing environment requirements and managing multiple tasks.
•  Must have good driving record and be able to drive long distances as needed to the various sites.
•  Occasional night and weekend work required.
•  A college degree or four year's progressive experience in system administration in mid/large size environments.
