Job Description:

In addition to our flagship Scheid Vineyards brand, we produce and market a broad portfolio of private label and global brands, including Sunny with a Chance of Flowers, Grandeur, VDR, Metz Road, District 7, Stokes’ Ghost and Ryder Estate.

Scheid Family Wines is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator for a selection of brands within the Scheid Family Wines portfolio. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist in the execution of creative digital marketing campaigns and ad support, email marketing, newsletters/blog posts, and daily social media account communication including posts, monitoring customer comments and feedback, and corresponding with customers. This team member will also be responsible for the development and scheduling of content, including copy, creative graphics, video, and still photography across social media platforms for a select group of brands in the Scheid Family Wines portfolio.

•  Work with the Brand Management team to understand the voice, ethos and content buckets for each brand to create relevant and engaging social media content that is consistent with the brand positioning.
•  Develop content plans using Planoly for each social media channel in advance, then create the photos, videos, graphics and copy content needed for a pre-determined schedule of posts aligned with the digital marketing strategies outlined for each brand.
•  Work with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and Brand Management team to support specific digital marketing campaigns.
•  Identify and communicate with influencers and potential brand partners for campaigns and programming that aligns with each brand’s ethos.
•  Shoot photos and/or create videos to be used as content for social media channels, email newsletters and blog posts.
•  Monitor social media accounts daily and respond to customers as directed.
•  Respond to customer comments, emails and phone calls as directed.
•  Monitor content on brand web sites, alert the appropriate Brand Manager to edits that may be necessary, and update or coordinate with 3rd party contractors to update website content (text/photos) in WordPress.
•  Assist with other social media and digital marketing projects as assigned.
•  Work with the DTC team to address inventory and order issues including, but not limited to, compliance issues, fulfillment issues, and product inventory across multiple channels.

•  Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years’ experience in social media marketing.
•  1+ years’ experience managing social media accounts at a professional level (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter).
•  1+ years’ experience in customer service (email/phone), preferably in the wine industry or other luxury product industry.
•  Photography/Video – 1-2 years’ experience in capturing creative images with a professional camera (stills & video) as well as an iPhone.
•  Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro, Canva or other similar content creation software programs.
•  Creative as well as technically and digitally savvy with an eye for creative composition.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong understanding of spelling and grammar is essential.

•  Well-organized, self-starter with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality, accurate work product.

•  Ability to respond to basic inquiries from co-workers, customers and business partners.
•  Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.
•  Experience with Social Media Management software like Planoly, HubSpot preferred.
•  Digital photography experience - both location and studio.
•  Power Point skills are a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and/or keyboard. Required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This job requires use of the computer and phone.
