Position title Production Enologist
Length of Time Full Time Position
Reports to US Operations Manager

Position purpose

The Production Enologist is a “hands-on” role supporting the Operations team.

Primary Responsibilities

•  Develop and maintain a understanding of and, as needed, operate the onsite technologies including the Spinning Cone Column and / or GoLo technology
•  Scheduling of processing jobs by working directly with clients
•  Create new opportunities in SalesForce and generate customer contracts
•  Create individual processing work packets
•  Tracking of all wine movement including data entry and report results
•  Run weekly production meeting
•  Compliance reporting to include monthly TTB filings / facility permits / ABC
•  Provide quality assurance support for production
•  Provide operations and consultative services for both smoke taint removal and sweet spotting sessions with customers
•  Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their future business objectives and needs
•  Work well with internal stakeholders to help drive customer success and contribute to a positive work environment and company culture
•  Participate in, and contribute to, technical communication, as needed, including articles, handbook content, web content, seminars, speaking engagements, and digital outreach

Qualifications
•  Education/preferred knowledge: Enology / Viticulture
•  Experience: 1 - 3 years winemaking / cellar experience
•  Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel
•  Skills/Personality: Organized, self-starter, motivated, can handle fast paced environment with minimal oversight
•  Can provide personal travel and lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions
•  Cellar and office environment
•  Full Time, Typically 9 – 5 Monday – Friday, however flexible and willing to work as needed
•  Compensation commensurate with experience
