The quiet iconoclasts of Robert Sinskey Vineyards seek a passionate and dedicated Chef de Partie. Must love to cook, glorify seasonal ingredients and have a passion to harvest and cook from the winery gardens, orchards and pastures. Our kitchen is driven by traditional techniques including open-hearth, wood-fire cookery, and complete utilization of foods through curing, preserving and fermenting. Flexibility of mind, common sense and refined knife skills are a must. Good sense of humor is a plus. Please do not apply if you are addicted to sous-vide or other tech-driven techniques. Simple elegance is achieved by the diverse portfolio of cuisine-friendly wines paired with creations sourced from the gardens and farm. This position will work directly with the winery Executive Chef who is also co-proprietor.
