Agrovin USA is a supplier to the North American Wine industry and is a part of Agrovin SA, Spanish international group operating through all major wines regions throughout the world.
Agrovin SA was set up 1960 to supply winemaking products. Operating from its base in Alcázar de San Juan, Spain – which is where it still has its headquarters. In 2005, Agrovin took its first step into the international market, initially opening sites in France, Portugal, Rumania and Italy.
Responsible for technical sales, including the promotion, sale, and support of products and services to wine accounts in throughout California.
The applicant would have the following attributes’, but are not limited to:
Good understanding of the winemaking process
Passion for wine, winemaking and the industry
Sales Background or wine industry based experience
Manage direct customers in territory, which includes major and minor accounts
Knowledge of California wine industries and regions
Excellent Customer Service Skills and the ability to create industry relationships
Team player, strong people skills, self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
A Passion for learning/innovation.
The role requires frequent domestic travel
Good communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills. Comfortable with public speaking.
Ability to create opportunities and close sales.
Computer proficient in WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT and other basic business programs like CRM
Valid Drivers License
