National Sales Manager
We’re looking for a talented National Sales Manager to drive the growth of our business in the US.
Marlborough Wine Ltd, is an award-winning New Zealand winery and the proud maker of premium branded wines including Toi Toi and Staete Landt. Our winemaking focus is to create exceptional, sustainably grown wines from the best of New Zealand’s cool climate grape growing regions.

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of our business in the US.
Key responsibilities
Develop and lead the market launch plan to achieve national volume, distribution, and contribution targets
Develop strong working relationships with the MWL management team as well as wholesalers and key trade
Grow sustainable distribution within target accounts (including Chains),
Support Chain category proposals and activations
Manage brand standards, ensure consistent execution across all channels.
Manage administration and compliance
Deliver ongoing sales and financial performance reporting
To be successful in this role you must have demonstrated experience with Distributor Management, Chain Management, and marketing activation.
You will have a demonstrated a history of building enduring relationships and growing brands from a small base. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills. You must be able to actively make regular (including virtual) calls on key accounts either on own and/or with distributor personnel.
Location is flexible.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years in Wine Industry sales management Experience
