Blue Coast Beverages is a wine importer/distributor with a strong portfolio of domestic, European, and Southern Hemisphere offerings.
We are looking for enthusiastic salespersons to join the team and take part in growing key territories in Boston and throughout Massachusetts. A strong core of existing accounts provides for tremendous opportunity in multiple territories. A Sales Representative is goal oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit and competitive drive, while selling to on and off premises business.
Job Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Develop and enhance customer relationships;
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms;
Responsible for forecasting and planning sales calls;
Consult with customers after sales to provide ongoing support;
Demonstrate competent sales abilities through successful presentation of products and creditable promotion of new and existing portfolio items;
Utilize sample inventories to promote product sales;
Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and trade events to maintain a high level of product/supplier knowledge;
Submit orders utilizing the company tablet;
Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, to create sell sheets, and selling presentations
Review customers credit status, collect monies owed, submits checks and cash according to the collection and deposit procedures;
Stock shelves and storage areas with product;
Must be available to work some nights and weekends for customer support;
Be able to lift 40lbs;
Submit weekly reports of accounts visited and buyer feedback.
Previous industry experience within the distribution, retail, restaurant, hospitality or supplier community desired. A strong wine knowledge is preferred but not required.
