Interns will have the opportunity to work with fruit from Howell Mountain, Oakville, Yountville, Diamond Mountain, Mount Veeder, St. Helena, and Rutherford. Clients include Schrader Cellars, Black Sears, and Seaver Vineyards. Lunch is provided daily.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- pump overs
- punch downs
- fruit processing
- barrel work
The ideal candidate will have at least one vintage experience, will possess a strong attention to detail and desire to learn. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for up to 12 hours, and climb ladders and stairs. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Applicants should expect to work up to 80 hrs/week for several weeks.
