Full-time Tasting Room Supervisor

Job Description:

Brick Barn Wine Estate is looking for a Tasting Room Supervisor who is passionate about wine, hospitality and sales. The Tasting Room Supervisor assists in being responsible for the Tasting Room facilities and employees, ensuring consumers have a great experience, managing staff schedules, meeting revenue goals, supporting Wine Club growth and executing consumer events. This position is full-time and includes weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Assist with the supervision of the tasting room staff
•  Lead the daily activities of the Tasting Room to achieve revenue goals, club member growth and ensure the highest level of service
•  Coach team to achieve exceptional customer service by providing information, resolving problems, and answering questions for employees
•  Manage daily business functions including opening and closing procedures, cash accounting and reporting
•  Responsible for continual staff training, development and supervision
•  Consistent presence as the on-floor supervisor
•  Assist in the development of experiences, events, and enhancing guest hospitality
•  Maintain tasting room presentation and housekeeping standards, ensure the tasting room is clean organized and re-stocked
•  Back Office administrative duties
•  Assist with daily shipping needs
•  Includes Order Management to Customer Service Issue Resolution
•  Collaborate with Tasting Room Manager, Wine Club Manager and Event Coordinator on all consumer events
•  Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed
•  Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and motivate others to do the same
•  Other duties as assigned

Other Responsibilities
•  Meet regularly with Tasting Room Manager to discuss progress, strategies of sales and club goals
•  Outreach with other wineries from time to time and represent the winery at industry events

•  Tasting Room or Hospitality Management experience
•  Ability to work with and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of detail and customer service
•  Understanding of and passion for wine
•  Must be available weekends and holidays
•  Must be 21 years of age or older, and able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
