This individual would serve as the Setting Wines Ambassador/Estate Host at the The Setting Inn, in Yountville, Ca.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage and execute all scheduled tastings in Napa for the Setting Wines
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the tasting; sharing our story, promoting the Setting Society and selling our wine in a confident and skilled manner while building meaningful, genuine relationships with our guests.
Handle purchases using POS system and provide retail-related guidance to customers
Respond to all customer service issues in a professional, warm and timely manner.
Manage onsite wine inventory.
Work closely with the General Manager/Director of Sales to successfully execute the monthly, quarterly and yearly marketing and sales calendar.
Develop innovative ways to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Manage the completion of daily opening and closing Tasting Room duties.
Work alongside Operations to ensure each tasting continues to run efficiently, sales are being processed appropriately and guests are receiving the highest level of excellence in each tasting.
Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Weekly inventory check and requests as needed
The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented
Previous wine sales experience is a plus
Exceptional customer service skills are an absolute necessity
The ability to multi-task is necessary
Professional, warm, energetic, and welcoming personal presentation with excellent communication skills
A valid drivers’ license and an acceptable driving record or the ability to transport yourself to and from both the Sonoma and Napa tasting rooms.
Ability to lift 50 pounds

Estate Host will receive an hourly wage (BOE) plus a percentage of wine sales.
