Position: Marketing Merchandiser Manager:
We are looking for a full-time marketing and merchandising Manager who is highly energetic and organized who can service key retail accounts in Massachusetts (occasionally RI as well if needed). This is a position which has great opportunity for growth for the successful hardworking team player. Also this is a unique and rare opportunity to work in the import/supplier segment of the wine industry for one of the industry leaders and fastest growing wine importers in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
•  Develop and Enhance customer relationships
•  Regularly travel to meet with accounts in territory to determine possible and/or schedule merchandising needs
•  Collects, organizes and keeps up to date current POS from Tri-Vin website
•  Places proper POS materials on our products and works with account to follow their formats and policy and procedures, also works with accounts to get best shelf and floor
positioning for our products
•  When in accounts actively helps customers and works to non-aggressively up sell customers and sell our products off the shelf
•  Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of account and/or Regional Manager
•  Constructs and or assembles displays as needed
•  Stock shelfs, displays, storage areas as needed
•  Organizes and schedules all aspects of in store tastings, wine events, including coordination of samples, POS
•  Performs 2 – 3 in store tastings per week 2 to 4 hours depending on event and time of year
•  Learns the Tri-Vin portfolio and is able to answer questions about products, pricing, and availability
•  Reports to appropriate parties and Regional Manager Inventory levels, marketing and sales trends, any customer concerns and feedback
•  Interfaces with distributor representatives as needed and instructed by Regional Manager
•  Travels to distributor warehouses as needed
•  Maintains records of daily activities in a weekly report submitted weekly to Regional Manager
•  Keeps MA account list up to date with account contact information and up to date emails etc.
•  Attends meetings as assigned by Regional Manager and meets regularly and communicates daily with Regional Manager

Knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be successful in this role:
•  Candidate must live centrally located within primary territory
•  Outgoing and motivated self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
•  Impeccable customer service skills
•  Gentle but effective persuasiveness skills
•  Knowledge of liquor beverage industry, merchandising and/or retail operations, strong wine knowledge preferred
•  Previous industry experience within distribution, retail, restaurant, hospitality or supplier preferred
•  Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills
•  Ability to lift 40lbs
•  College degree preferred or equivalent experience
•  Must have valid MA drivers license, reliable car and clean driving record
•  Ability to drive and call on the On premise Retail accounts throughout the State of Massachusetts
•  Must be able to work most weekends and some evenings, must have a flexible schedule that changes during different times of the year
