The Seasonal Wine Education Ambassador communicates the uniqueness of Domaine Chandon, through a consistent and impactful Brand messaging, while exhibiting excellence in customer service, in order to create a world-class experience for every guest.

Responsibilities
- Represent our wines and Brand in a friendly, professional manner both at the winery and in the market
- Perform wine service and tastings for all visitors including wine trade and VIP’s, in a Brand-consistent manner
- Facilitate the Domaine Chandon scripted tour, adding consistent quality to deliver accuracy of message
- Safely escort tours through tour route, adjusting to the needs of the winery
- Consistently discuss benefits of food with wine, up-selling and recommending food purchases and experiences
- Sell Club Chandon wine club memberships, striving to improve personal as well as team sign-up performance
- Operate point-of-sale system with accuracy in sales, shipping, and inventory management
- Follow assigned Set up and Break down schedules in tasting rooms
- Maintain clean and well-stocked Tasting Room
- Stock wine and merchandise daily and keep accurate daily wine inventories, including breakage
- Participate in monthly inventories

Requirements
Minimum
- At least 3 years’ experience in wine education/hospitality industry.
- Previous public-speaking experience and ability to facilitation to large groups
- Communicate through active-listening skills and open-ended questions to gather immediate and accurate insight into guest needs
- Knowledge of methods for promoting and selling products and providing customer service
- Ability to remain calm even under the most stressful situation
- Complete multiple tasks with accuracy and urgency
- Able to process point-of-sale functions and comprehend mathematics to complete customer transactions
- High School Diploma or GED required, College Education is preferred
- English required, second language helpful in communication with visiting public
