Far Niente is seeking a cellar worker to assist the Production Team in all facets of wine processing under the direction of the Cellar Master and Winemaker.


•  Performs all routine cellar duties including but not limited to grape receival, crushing, additions, pressing, filling and topping
•  Performs wine movements and barrel work such as racking, transfers, stacking, topping, washing and maintenance
•  Operate all winery machinery as needed under the safety guidelines provided
•  Maintain the team spirit of pulling in the same direction with common production goals
•  Promote safety, quality and efficiency
•  Follow all cellar protocols, standards and procedures


•  21 years of age or older preferred
•  Ability to read, write, and speak English
•  Previous experience preferred but not required
•  Ability to accurately calculate figures
•  Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
•  Valid California Driver’s License and clean DMV record
•  High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
•  Ability to work nights and/or weekends during the harvest season or as business requires
•  Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
•  Commitment to excellence and high standards


•  Full body mobility: Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance and kneel
•  Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
