Honig Vineyard & Winery is seeking a direct sales representative for the greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate should have sales experience and live in Los Angeles area. We are seeking a candidate who is highly personable.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Present and sell Honig wines to wholesale accounts within the sales territory
Prospect, contact, and visit potential on premise accounts
Maintain accurate customer data in the company contact database
Provide exceptional service to cultivate ongoing and lasting customer relationships
Host in-store promotional events, such as tastings and wine dinners (this includes some nights & weekends)
Must live in Los Angeles area
Must be able to sell wine and create industry relationships
Basic wine knowledge a must
Strong people skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Commitment to the company’s core values of family, quality, progressive, fun, and social responsibility
Relevant computer skills (Microsoft Outlook)
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle
Ability to safely lift 40 lbs., taste, smell, drive
Compensation is base salary plus commission. Benefits include medical, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, vehicle expense reimbursement, travel and entertainment reimbursement.
