Etude Wines is dedicated to mastering the craft of winegrowing. Etude specializes in Estate grown Carneros Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Pinot Noir from other appellations which include Santa Rita Hills, Santa Maria, Sonoma Coast and Yamhill-Carlton (OR). Etude also produces small amounts of Estate grown Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Rose of Pinot Noir and sources incredible Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from the Napa Valley.
This is a full-time internship offering competitive pay. Employment starts in late July 2020 and finishes October-November 2020 - season dependent.
About the Roles
This position will work closely with the winemaking and viticulture teams in monitoring Estate and grower vineyards prior to and during the grape harvest. Duties include; grape maturity sampling and analysis, crop estimates, pest and disease scouting, water status monitoring, and other vineyard sampling as required. There is the potential of transitioning into the wine cellar as the season progresses.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently, have strong organizational skills and time management, computer proficiency, have a quest for quality results and work well individually as well as in a team atmosphere. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to lift 40 lbs.
